Vinésime creates new rosé body scrub to help raise awareness of breast cancer

French vinocosmetic skincare and spa brand Vinésime has developed a new body scrub powered by rosé and the famous grape variety Grenache Noir.

Available in retail and professional size, the Rose Terre de Provence Body Scrub is powered by 98 per cent natural ingredients and relies on the natural exfoliating texture of Grenache Noir grape seed powder and sugar to gently remove dead cells and impurities from the skin.

The scrub is also claimed to moisturise the skin thanks to the inclusion of nourishing vitamin E, sunflower seed oil and shea butter

Characterised by a distinctive aroma of Chateau de Berne rosé wine, the pale pink granular scrub has a gel-like consistency which dissolves into a delicate milk once water is applied.

Vinésime explained that the new product was borne from its desire to continue its long-term support of raising money for and awareness about breast cancer.

“In 2022, we wanted to do something innovative and eye-catching to bring better awareness to this subject,” said Édouard Damidot, Vinésime co-founder.

“It started with the idea of creating something linked with the colour pink, and we naturally thought about rosé wine.

“One of our close spa ambassadors and partners, Château de Berne is known for its magnificent vineyards in Provence where it produces and distributes high-quality rosé wines.

“The formula is quite similar to our classic Vinésime body scrubs, but the key difference is the Grenache Noir Rosé used in the product, we also had our own perfumer collaborate with Château de Berne to create a delicious exclusive fragrance for this product.”

Upon launching, a percentage of the revenue of the scrub was donated to a local oncology research center.
